Dear Friends,
In just over one week I will host our 7th Job Hunters Boot Camp on Wednesday, November 9th from 10:00-2:00 at South San Francisco Conference Center. As with the prior Boot Camps, participants will be able to visit with more than 20 local employers that are currently hiring, hear from inspiring human resource experts and take part in one-on-one resume and interview critique sessions. If you are looking for work, I strongly encourage you to attend!
At the event you will learn how you can accelerate your job search with social media and overcome interview barriers that might be standing in your way. We continue to have exciting workshops for mature workers and veterans.
As you know, finding a job in this economy is harder than ever. That’s why it is so important to showcase your skills to land the job you’ve been dreaming about. I understand that looking for work is a full time job and sometimes giving up might seem like your only option. You are not alone. Please use this event to reenergize and inspire your job search and connect with others who are going through similar challenges.
And of course, please forward this to your family and friends in the area who are looking for work. All are welcome. The only requirement is that you must register for the Job Hunters Boot Camp here. You can also find a list of currently registered employers here.
The event and parking are free. Lunch will be available for purchase on site or feel free to bring your own.
