Dear Neighbor,

Are you registered to vote?

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and I urge you to make sure you are all set to vote on November 6.

You must register by October 22, to be eligible to vote in the November election.

Please encourage your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to register and vote. Every voice counts. Here are some resources to help you get started:

  • Check out the California Secretary of State’s Voter Registration Page to register online.

  • If you are an active-duty member of the military serving abroad or living outside the U.S. for work, school, or other reasons, use the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s website to make sure your vote counts this election.

  • Not sure if you’re registered or forgot your polling place?
    • San Francisco County residents can look up their voter registration status on this page from the City and County of San Francisco Department of Elections’ Voting Toolkit.
  • In California, you can opt to vote by mail. Voters who sign up to vote by mail will receive their ballot about 20 days prior to the election.
    • San Francisco County residents can find information about the vote-by-mail process online along with an application.
We must all exercise our right to vote. It is not only our duty as citizens but also our responsibility to those who have fought for our independence, for our democracy, and for our civil rights. I’ll be proud to cast my vote this Election Day, and I hope you’ll join me by voting this November 6th.

All the best,

jackie
