The 111th Congress has officially adjourned for the year on Wednesday evening, closing a two-year term during which my Democratic colleagues and I fought hard to pass more landmark legislation than any since the era of LBJ’s "Great Society." We are proud to have produced historical achievements for the middle class in job creation, small business tax cuts, health care, Wall Street reform, veterans’ health care, and child nutrition. Thank you so much for the support you have given me over the past two years. It has been a great privilege and honor to represent you in Congress. I wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season!
