TAX BILL VOTE
December 20, 2010
Dear Friends,
President Obama has signed into law an $858 billion tax cut bill, which passed in the House by a vote of 277-148 just before midnight on Thursday. I have voted against the bill because I believe it will, in the long run, only hurt hardworking Americans and their families. This bill adds more than $800 billion to the deficit over 2 years – the 10-year cost of the Health Care Reform bill, which we paid for. Next Congress, I will work hard to address the national debt. You can watch my interviews below to learn more about my views on this tax bill. Please leave your comments on my Facebook page to share your thoughts. Thank you.
