A Grateful Salute To Our Veterans

November 12, 2010
Dear Friends,

On Veterans Day, Americans took time to pay tribute to our military veterans. With an estimated 14,000 veterans living in Upper Manhattan, most of us had someone to thank for their military sacrifice. This week I have launched on my website a Veterans Resource Guide to services available at the VA and other agencies. Please let me know of any services or programs that should be added to the list. The next time you see a veteran or a soldier in uniform, offer a word of thanks and a salute. They've earned it.
