Income Equality
October 28, 2011
Dear Friends,
The American Dream is fading. 1% control 42% of this country’s wealth while 99% of Americans are struggling to get by. Many have lost their homes, health insurance, and can’t afford the cost of education. People are mad as hell, and I agree. 14 million are out of work and 1 of every 5 children, American children, is born into poverty. However the American people still have hope. This great country overcame the Great Depression because of hope. We made great strides towards racial equality because of hope and now we must fight economic inequality with hope. This starts with everyone paying their fair share, and making shared sacrifice. Let's rebuild the American Dream together.
