MORAL OBLIGATION TO DO MORE

October 22, 2010
Dear Friends,

Over the last two years, this Congress has done so much for the veterans and has enacted several laws that will make a real difference in the lives of those who have so valiantly served our nation. I am proud to have assisted in those efforts. In fact, this week, I am honored to say the Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) has given me an "A" grade for my votes on veterans' issues. I appreciate the IAVA for recognizing my staunch support for our nation's brave men and women in uniform. At every turn, I will continue to advocate for them and remain committed to fulfilling our country’s moral obligation to do more for all of our veterans, their families, and all those who need a little boost.
