LONG-AWAITED VICTORY FOR 9/11 HEROES

October 1, 2010
Dear Friends,

This week is full of exciting developments in Washington! In particular, the House passed legislation to provide remedy for the ailing workers who fell ill responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in NYC. The New York congressional delegation, which I lead, was at the forefront of pushing this bill forward. Our work is not finished; the Senate must clear the bill before President Obama signs it into law. My colleagues and I are determined to bring justice to the unsung heroes of 9/11 and will fight for its enactment!
