FINALLY! NEW HEALTHCARE PROVISIONS TAKE EFFECT
September 24, 2010 Dear Friends,
September 23 was a victory day for America's healthcare consumers -- it was a day the Patient's Bill of Rights went into effect, ending some of the worst abuses of the insurance industry and putting you, not your insurance company, in control of your health care. My Democratic colleagues and I worked so hard with President Obama to pass the Affordable Care Act so it can make you healthier and America stronger. And we will keep fighting for your rights and prosperity!
