A WRONG PLAN FOR AMERICA

(Scroll Down For Last Minute Tax Assistance)

April 15, 2011
Dear Friends,

The Republican budget introduced last week is a plan that is immoral and compromises the values we hold dear in our great nation. The GOP's plan to severely cut funding for Medicaid, Pell Grants, food stamps, and to privatize Medicare does nothing to help us win the future. By extending huge tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires, it increases the deficit and leaves millions without the lifeline they rely on. To move our country forward, we should be investing in resources that will create jobs and spur growth, and protect vital programs while we work to reduce our deficits. It is not only the fiscally responsible thing to do; it is the righteous thing to do.
