Dear Friends,
Yesterday, I joined a cross section public and private sector leaders to promote a number of resources for free tax preparation. It's hard to believe, but each year, millions of Americans -- close to 20,000 in Upper Manhattan alone -- miss out on getting back money they are entitled to through the Earned Income Tax Credit.
You may be eligible for the credit if you work and make less than $49,000. The credit may be worth up to $5,600.
