Dear Friends,
This week kicked off the second session of the 112th United States Congress. Instead of focusing on legislation to improve the economy, Republicans seem to be fixated on blocking President Obama's efforts to get America back to work. My fellow Democrats and I will keep fighting to pass the American Jobs Act, as well as extend the payroll tax cuts and unemployment insurance. So much is at stake this year. As always, you can join the discussion on my Facebook page as we enter Round Two in our fight to protect the American people.
