RISING ABOVE TRAGEDY

January 14, 2011
Dear Friends,

What happened on Saturday in Arizona was a great tragedy. I hope Americans unite in praying for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' quick and full recovery. My heart goes out to all the victims and the families of the tragic shooting. As President Obama urged, I hope we can put our partisan differences aside and rise above the rhetoric to move America forward. I will work hard to ensure we practice civility and the spirit of cooperation in Congress for the good of the American people and the best interests of our country. Thank you for your support.

We Must Not Waver In Our Commitment To Haiti

We must not lose faith in the resiliency of the Haitian people. We must not waver in our commitment to help them help themselves…”
