Government in the Grocery This Saturday in Aurora
This is a program where I go to grocery stores throughout the district to talk one-on-one with constituents. I look forward to meeting with you to talk about whatever is on your mind. Government in the Grocery is about being available to listen to you in a less formal setting. This kind of access is essential to the fabric of our democracy. Please note that due to time constraints, constituents will be given priority and individuals and groups may be limited to approximately 5 minute intervals.

GE Solar to Create Over 350 Jobs in Colorado
Last week, GE formally announced plans to build the biggest solar panel factory in the nation right here in the 7th Congressional District in Aurora. GE estimates over 350 jobs will be created with the first panels rolling off the line in late 2012 using technology originally designed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, then continued at PrimeStar Solar in Arvada. This announcement further highlights how NREL continues to partner with the private sector to create long term jobs and bolster our nation's energy security. Making things here in Colorado ensures we will make it in America.
