Medal Ceremony for WW II Veterans

Ed presenting medals to Orville Thomas and family.

Ed with Colorado WW II Iwo Jima Veterans.

Yesterday I had the honor of presenting Orville Thomas, a World War II veteran, with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star he received in the European, African, & Middle-Eastern campaigns and Lewis Seago, World War II Marine veteran from Iwo Jima and Saipan, with the Presidential Unit Citation for his service in the Battle of Saipan. Last year my office helped Mr. Thomas receive a VA pension to help with his nursing home expenses and also submitted a request for his overdue military medals and decorations. Several of the World War II Iwo Jima veterans I helped get to the Battle of Iwo Jima’s 65th Anniversary were also in attendance. These men are American heroes and I am proud to help them in any way I can.

My Office is Here to Help You!

One of the most important functions of serving in Congress is helping my constituents cut through some of the red tape when dealing with government agencies. While my office will not always be able to help, I take pride in having the most responsive District Office possible. We help constituents with many casework issues including passport, IRS, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and Veterans Administration (VA) benefits. If you have any questions about potential casework please call my District Office at: 303-274-7944.

Constituent Kathy Kuzniar
Ed,

I want to thank you and your staff for assisting me in resolving the delay of my federal retirement pension. Thanks again for your prompt assistance.
