I launched a new "Ask Ed" feature on my website as another way to answer constituent questions and find out what's on the minds of the hardworking people in the 7th Congressional District.

Whether I'm at the gym, grocery store or the dog park, people come up to me to ask questions or talk about the issues important to them. Sometimes I get similar questions from a bunch of different people. This is another way I can be as responsive as possible and share information my friends and neighbors need to know.

Each month, I receive hundreds of letters, phone calls and emails - many of them with similar questions. With "Ask Ed," Constituents can send me a question and every month I will record a video answer to one of the questions. The video response will be emailed back to the constituent and posted on my website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. All constituents who email through the "Ask Ed" page on the website will receive a response. Just click on the "Ask Ed" button on the lower right hand corner of my homepage.

Colorado World War II Veteran Finally Receives Medals

Veteran Russell Aulston & Family Accept Medals

Last Monday I had the honor to present Russell Aulston with medals he earned but never collected for his service in World War II. Mr. Aulston's family was having a hard time with all the red tape involved to get him his medals. I am so proud my office was able to help expedite the process and have the opportunity to present Mr. Aulston and his family with the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Prisoner of War Medals for his service in the European Theatre.

Mr. Aulston served in the US Army from March of 1944 to November 1945, and was with the 106th Infantry Division in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 when his unit was overrun and captured. In March of 1945, General Patton's Third Army liberated the POW camp.
