Last week I had the privilege of meeting Colorado’s 2010 Olympic and Paralympic athletes during their visit to Washington. In Vancouver these dedicated men and women showed the world their courage, skill, and determination. Here in Colorado we have world-class mountain terrain and winter sports training facilities which help prepare these athletes. That is why I am proud to be the Co-Chair of the first ever Congressional Olympic and Paralympic Caucus in Congress.

Government in the Grocery
Discuss the Issues with Ed

To discuss the issues important to you, please attend my next Government in the Grocery. This is a program where my staff and I go to grocery stores throughout the district and talk with constituents one-on-one. Hearing from you helps me better represent the values of the hard working people of the 7th Congressional District in Congress. Due to time constraints, we must limit each person or group to approximately five minute intervals.
  • Where: Sprouts Farmers Market, 1150 Ironton St. Aurora, CO 80018 (Corner of East Mississippi & Havana)
  • When: Saturday, May 8, 2010, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon)

Participate in My Next Telephone Town Hall

My office uses telephone town halls to talk about issues important to constituents in the 7th Congressional District. A telephone town hall is a live conference call meeting you can participate in from your own home. I invite you and your neighbors to participate in a live town hall conference to discuss important issues such as the economy, energy policy, health insurance reform and other issues. The next Telephone Town Hall meeting will be on Tuesday, May 11th at 6:30 PM and will focus on senior citizen issues. In order to get the call to participate, please click on the link below to sign up. Please note your information is confidential and will never be given out.
