Colorado Veterans Return to Iwo Jima

Colorado Veterans on Iwo Jima.
Rep. Perlmutter Welcomes
Colorado Veterans Home.

I am proud my office and I helped cut through some red tape to get these brave Coloradans back to Iwo Jima for the 65th Anniversary of this historic battle. The trip was lead by the Arvada-based The Greatest Generations Foundation and my office helped the group complete the final leg to Iwo Jima after their original charter flight was cancelled.

Congressional Page Opportunity for CD 7 Resident

My office was recently chosen to nominate a House Page for the first summer session from June 6, 2010 until July 2, 2010. The page program is an extraordinary opportunity for a young person. This program provides one of the best hands-on experiences to work directly with the U.S. House of Representatives. Click here for information about the Page application process.
