With all the pressing issues before us as a nation, none is more important than getting Americans back to work! Citizens, families, and communities all across our region, state, and nation are facing challenging economic times, and we need to do all we can to help get our economy moving again. Jobs and economic development are the most important issues we face as a nation.

There are many different ways to create American jobs, and I want to hear from you!

Which of the following do you think will promote American job growth in Southeastern North Carolina and the U.S.?
Increase lending to small businesses, get major corporations to invest in jobs, and provide seed money to new entrepreneurs.
Streamline permitting and speed the approval process for construction ready projects.
Promote North Carolina’s coast to boost jobs in travel and tourism.
Invest in expanding Broadband internet access to rural America.
Ensure that job training programs are matched with employers who need their skills—teach the skills that our market is demanding!
