Standing with Small Business:
McIntyre votes to repeal 1099 requirement
Today, I voted to repeal a requirement for small businesses to file a 1099 form to the IRS for payments more than $600 that they make to any vendor. This requirement is too burdensome to our small businesses during these challenging times. My focus is to make it easier for businesses to create jobs! Adding an additional tax requirement won't achieve that and I’m pleased the House took the first step in repeal.
Sincerely,
U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre
Representing the 7th District of North Carolina |
