You're Invited to My Tele-Town Hall!

Recently, I have hosted constituent meetings all across our district to give citizens an opportunity to discuss directly the issues foremost on their minds. While I travel home virtually every weekend and regularly meet with constituents all over Southeastern North Carolina, many working families, parents of small children, and our senior citizens are not always able to participate. Telephone town hall meetings have proven to be a great tool for allowing more folks to be included in these ongoing discussions about the issues affecting them.

I invite you to participate in my first Tele-Townhall meeting this year on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 7:30-8:30 p.m.!

You may sign up on my website at http://mcintyre.house.gov/rd/teletownhall or by calling toll free to 1-877-229-8493 and using the PIN code 15612. The telephone town hall lasts approximately one hour, and participants are welcome to stay on the line and listen for as long as their time permits. Specific instructions will be given to callers who would like to ask a question, and we do our best to take as many questions as possible.

Sincerely,

U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre
Representing the 7th District of North Carolina
