The deadline to sign up for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act is March 31st -- it’s approaching fast.
It’s no secret that the Affordable Care Act sign-up process hasn’t been working the way it should. In fact, I recently led a bipartisan effort with Congressman Charlie Dent to improve it. The common sense changes we proposed will make sure that Delawareans who need insurance coverage can get it. Click here to read more.
I also wanted to make sure you knew about several opportunities to get help signing up for healthcare coverage.
- There are events over the next few weeks where you can meet with experts in the sign-up process. Visit www.choosehealthde.com to see the calendar of events. This website also provides answers to a variety of frequently asked questions about the Affordable Care Act.
- Insurance agents and brokers can also help you sign up for coverage and recommend plan options. You can find a certified agent or broker on Delaware’s website, www.choosehealthde.com.
