Dear Neighbor,

I always want to have open lines of communication with constituents and our community. Whether it’s about the economy, jobs, or healthcare, it is important that I hear from you.

As we approach the November general election, rules within the U.S. House of Representatives severely limit my communication with you during the “blackout period”—the 90 days before any election. The 2012 blackout period begins August 8th. I want to make sure that you and I are able to stay in touch. To do so, please subscribe to my e-newsletter, "Latest from Linda," to receive regular updates with important news and information.

Social media is another great way to stay in touch during the “blackout period." I regularly post updates, photos, and news about what I am up to in California and Washington. I encourage you to connect with me by clicking “Like” on my Facebook page, “Follow” on Twitter and “Subscribe” on my YouTube page.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this important message. It is an honor to serve you in Congress. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Linda T. Sánchez
Member of Congress
