Dear Neighbor,

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in California this week is $3.99. While big oil companies continue to make record profits, the high prices at the pump are hurting working families. High fuel prices make everything more expensive, like your grocery bill.

We’re at an eight-year high in domestic oil production, and domestic demand for oil is down. Supply is high and demand is low. So, it makes no sense that we’re still stuck with this pain at the pump.

How do we bring down gas prices?
  YES NO
Prevent Wall Street speculators from driving up the price at the pump.
Prevent oil companies from exporting our own oil overseas.
Invest in clean energy technology.
End wasteful tax giveaways for Big Oil.
Allow the U.S. to go after oil-producing nations that band together to drive up the price of oil.
Open America’s Strategic Petroleum reserve to increase domestic oil supply.
